question about canning

I know you need a pressure canner to can meat, but can you also use a pressure canner to can fruit and veggies too? Or does the pressure hurt the veggies in any way?
 
Not a canning expert, myself, but watched my mom & dad can many jars of beans, tomatoes and other stuff with their pressure canner...
 
I'm no expert on pressure cookers either but my neighbor uses a canner thats a pressure cooker canner...She did all her canning from the garden this year with one...
 
Acidic fruits, jellies and jams don't need a pressure canner, just a water bath canner. Veggies and meats, soups, stews, and other non acidic foods do. The veggies will be cooked by the pressure canner, but that's ok.
