Question about color.

What does the white on the chest of the male indicate? As in the photo below. Many of my neighbors males have this.
Although not quite so much.

I think he is just young .
Mine is finely loosing his white and he will be a year old the end of next month..

Ooooohhh. You are right. Most of my neighbors boys are yearlings and 2 yr olds. I did not realize they looked like that.
I bought mine when they were already mature.
