Question about combining ages

Would it work to add one or two pullets born 8/10 to a group born 8/29? Is that too much age gap?

It's the SIZE that matters most.

Integrating bantam chicks born 8/29 to large fowl chicks born 8/11 might need supervision.

But if they are all relatively the same size, there's not much problem.

Two weeks is not that much difference.

I've integrated baby chicks with a 4 week difference and just watched for any pecking or aggression.

I have had some luck with combining chicks but also some devastating results. You just have to try combining them for short periods of time and watch how they interact. Every breed and every chick are different. I say try it but be nearby to help if needed.
