How long will my fatties live? Got them march 13 from tractor supply as babies and have read different things so I'm not sure.

With proper diet and keeping them active they can live for a couple years. Ration their feed, keep them cool in the hot weather, and hide treats so they have to go looking for them.

I feed mine twice a day, she’s almost 2 now and her eggs are big compared to other chicken eggs. Here’s her (the naked spots are from rooster).

Cornish are one of the hardest breeds to raise if you don't want to slaughter them. they don't last long if they are not active.

How do I keep them active? We let them out to roam the yard few hours a day. That enough?
