Question about Cornish Rocks.

A couple weeks ago, I bought a Cornish Rock along with seven other chicks. I didn't know what a Cornish Rock was so I bought it and started doing research. Well after the research, I learned you had to kill them at 8 weeks. Has anyone had luck with raising these past due date? It gets plenty of exersize and it barely gets to eat loads of feed because I have it in the pen with 24 chicks. So it doesn't get enough feed to kill itself. Any tips?

That's what's happening now. Or was. I hadn't seen them do it in a couple weeks do maybe it stopped. They even plucked her. The only feathers she has is on her drums, wings, neck and head.
