Question about crested

I think I may have read that crested shouldn't breed crested. Is that right? I am looking at a blue swedish pair and they are both crested. Not sure if I read that or not. I have it in my head for some reason.

You have that right, a double dose of the Crested gene will cause deformities, and many of the ducklings would die.
