question about dark cornish rooster comb

i think i made a mistake today. I purchased a trio of dark cornish birds. I had commited to the purchase before i noiced the rooster has a rosebud comb. The man said that they are pure breed. Had i been decieved? I have looked at pictures and don't see any rosebud combs.

So do you think i have a cornish rooster or not.

Cornish should have a pea comb. "Rosebud" is not an actual classification, so I'm not sure if you mean a rose comb or maybe a walnut comb or cushion comb??? That would be the first step. A pea comb should have 3 even rows of little points. I'm sure if you do a search you can find several examples of good pea combs and the other combs and then determine what you have.
