I've used Safeguard in the past and have it on hand. But, I know when they're molting I can't use that. Here in CA we can't buy Valbazen. What are other alternatives? They have a few different kinds of horse dewormers at Tractor Supply, but I really have no idea what I would use. I looked at Ivermectin, but I'm confused as how to use that for deworming. I read that you can put it in their drinking water. I also read that you can put it on topically?
I'm asking this, because I've had to deworm my flock this time of year before and this year they're all molting right now. I like to have the medicines on hand and to know the proper dose.
Anyway...Any suggestions would be helpful.
