Question about EE and Egg Color

Is there a correlation between leg color and the color of eggs that the EE will produce? I think I have an EE (maybe mixed with soemthing- I don't know) and she has green (ish?) legs.... is there a chance for colored eggs?

I believe the comb has more to do with the color of the eggs on the EE's than the color of the legs does, if your EE has a pea comb than chances are she'll lay green eggs, but if she has a straight comb she will most likely lay brown eggs.

She has almost no comb.....

If she is an Americana or EE she should have a small pea comb and almost all of mine do have either green or slate colored legs.

There are many pea combed EEs who lay brown eggs. That's why folks are always so disappointed when they buy what the hatcheries call "Ameraucanas/Americanas/Araucanas" and expect the blue or green eggs. And leg color is not related at all to egg color.
