I have two smokey pearls that we got last August as chicks. Both had yellow legs and light colored beaks, red combs and wattles. They are now six months old and one seems to be changing skin color - is this possible?
Her legs, beak and skin around the eyes seems to be turning dark. Her beak is nearly black now. I know some in this breed have dark skin from the beginning, including dark combs. She is otherwise completely healthy and behaving normally. What could be going on?

. The one on the right used to have light yellow legs and beak like the other. Now she is darkening, even if you look between her feathers, her skin is darker!
