Question about entering eggs

I have always wanted to enter eggs into our local fair every September, but I do not know the standards them. We have a Welsummer that is laying a beautiful deep chocolate speckled egg. We also have an EE that is laying a consistent color of teal eggs. Does anyone show eggs? if if so, what are the basic standards?

Some fairs have you enter 1/2 dozen & some a dozen. Either way the entry should be clean & consistant in size & colour. Every egg should look exactly the same. Also, eggs should be fresh. Typically the judge will open an egg from each entry & that egg needs to be fresh.
