Question about Eprinex pour on for cattle dosage

I use Eprinex on my bantams and weigh several of them before dosing. It's a really small amount for them - dosage is 1 ml per 22 lbs. so .5 ml would be sufficient for an 11 lb. bird. .25 would dose 5.5 lbs. Since most of my silkies are much smaller than that, they only get a little over 1/10 of a ml.

oops one more question

--how long does it take for eprinex to kick in? just an estimate would be great. I know with dogs and cats, a lot of the topical stuff gives you a ball park figure for seeing results...

was just wondering!! thanks.

Safeguard equine paste wormer dosage is a "pea" size amount for standard size and small "pea" size amount for smaller size chickens. Give it to them orally. It's easiest if you put it on a small piece of bread and give each chicken a piece individually.

ok, thanks!! is there a period where you don't eat eggs after using it?

Hello, I bought the 250ml of Eprinex. I currently have about 15 chickens, mostly bantams. How long and how should this be kept? Is it something that once opened has to be used or discarded? Also can it be used on dogs and cats?

Thanks!
