Question about feather shape

Hi everyone. I have twelve three week old pullets and they all are growing and feathering in so nicely. I have one Buff Orpington that is smaller and slower to feather. Her Comb has not grown at all and her feathers are blunt and square shaped. She finally had a growth spurt a few days ago and her fuzz has turned into those odd looking square feathers. Everyone else has rounded, long feathers, including the other BO. Does anyone have thoughts on this or s this normal. This is my first flock since I was a kid. Thanks so much!

Watching. This sounds very similar to what I am experiencing with a 2 week old buff orp.

Oh good, I am glad to hear yours is the same. I was wondering because my other buff has normal, rounded feathers.

She is probably just a runt. Give her some time. She'll probably be just fine. I don't think it's anything serious. At three weeks, they can look pretty scraggly.
