Question about feathers

This one is about 7 weeks and was supposed to be a she.. pretty sure it's a Roo because of behaviors but I've also noticed weird patches of feathers. Is that normal that it grows like that? The other girls are fully feathered already.

In some breeds/strains cockerels are slower feathering, and that does appear to be a cockerel.

1 of my 10 Buff Orpington hens feathered in really patchy like yours. I, too, thought she was a cockerel based on behavior, but I was wrong. Every chick I thought I had pegged as a roo based on behavior, was dead wrong.. The comb on yours looks a little large, but it's not very red. I would vote pullet, but it'll be easier to tell in a few weeks.
