Question about feeding my chicks

I have 6 chicks that are 7 weeks old. I moved them to their outside coop a week ago. The coop has a house and a run. When it gets dark, about 8-9pm, I close the door to the house and keep them in there (for warmth and safety). Then in the morning, about 7:30am I open the door and let them go out in the run also. The food and water is in the run. I have been putting the small food and water from the brooder box in the house at night. Do I need to put food and water in the house at night or will it be ok for them to not have food or water during the night?

I would put the feed in. Leaving it out only encourages other critters to come and gobble it down.
As far as them going without food and water that long, they'll be alright. Hungry when you open the door, but alright. Chickens always seem to be hungry anyway ;)
