Question About Foxes🦊

Around where I live there are about 4-6 foxes. We put our chickens to bed at 6:30. Is this too late? We have been doing this for a while. But as the season changes will the foxes come out earlier? I've personally only had chickens eaten years ago, when we forgot to lock up the coop :-(. So, does anybody know if the foxes will come out earlier in the summer?

I forgot to include this, we feed them eggs in our driveway, so I don't know if that makes them hunt less or more around our house?

So you feed eggs to the foxes? No wonder they hang around. You might also be attracting coyotes, neighborhood dogs, raccoons, skunks, etc.

Feeding who? If you're Feeding foxes. STOP IT. You'll just be offering an appetizer for the chicken dinner and wasting eggs.

I have had a fox take a chicken about 3:00 in the afternoon, well before dusk. I yelled at him and he dropped the chicken.

Don't feed the wildlife that feed on your chickens.
