I ordered the gro gel last week and I was curious if other people here have used it with good results?

i used it with my first babies. They didn't need it. They came ready to eat feed. I had powder left for my second batch...again, they really didn't touch it. I find the gro-gel to be a neat idea, but it was a waste for me, unfortunately.

Thanks so much for the info.

I tried some with my guineas and chicks. The ate some of it but seemed to prefer the chick starter. I won't bother ordering any more. Instead I'm just adding that vitamin powder stuff to their water.

**UPDATE**

The leftovers from my chickens I used with my guinea keets. They enjoyed it immensely. So maybe I will buy it again, but that would only be if I ever buy more birds. Fat chance of that, right?

Well I just received my 10 chicks from ideal and I also ordered the grogel, wanting to give my babies the best start I could. I also didn't have much luck in getting them to eat it. I finally thinned it down, then they drank it. I read on another site to mix some feed into it. I plan to try that next. I won't be ordering it next time though. I think it was probably a waste of money.

I got it for my 25 chicks from McMurray - my chicks loved it, and devoured every last bite of it. All chicks are happy, healthy and thriving. I also add the vitamins and minerals to their water.
