Our first batch sat on our hands and were happy to be handled the second batch of chicks really disliked it. Food helps. My girls are pretty good at letting me herd them here and there but are not snuggly want to sit with me. Only come near me if I have food. I think part of me is kind of glad they don't come up to just anyone. I want them to be safe. I am hoping for a Chicken BFF. New chicks come Tuesday so I will see,
