Question about heating lamp

:welcome Too many coop fires caused by heat lamps. I'd provide the pig with a warm, dry sleeping box.
Another question, the chickens roost up stairs on the rafters, the heating lamp is sucruly attached to the 2x4 ( so it can't be knocked down) and the lamp is 5' 8" from the floor, so you suggest to still not put heating lamp in there ?🙂

chickens fly and flap around and feathers, go flying feathers, or bites of bedding, can land on the lamp and start a fire . have read horrible stories about entire Barns burning down

They aren't safe in such a dusty environment. I would invest in a large panel heater or two. They are much safer.
