I prefer to do things natural when I can so I allowed my guinea hen to keep her nest and fill it with eggs. She had 35 eggs and decided to start setting on them. She was only able to set on them 3 days and a raccoon raided the nest and ate 5 to 6 eggs. She abandoned the nest. I noticed within a few hours that she had abandoned them so I took what was left and put them in the incubator. They were put in on May 7th. I tried to do a clean out today to make room. Candling them I noticed several eggs had no veins at all so I figured they were duds. (I always open eggs that dont make it so I can see some of what was going on). When I opened a few of them I saw that they had very small babies starting to form. Could they possibly be good eggs with no signs of veins in them? Or had they died? I personally feel like they died at an early stage but I am new to guinea eggs. I do not want to be destroying good eggs. Sorry this post is so long.
