HI - my brinsea seems to only wants to display "even" temperatures however i read that turkey eggs need to be at 37.5 degrees - my brinsea stays stuck on either 37.4 or 37.6. Does anyone know if i should be erring on the side of 37.4, or, 37.6?? I only put them in yesterday morning so i am just leaving it at 37.4 for now. But i want to get this sorted out today/asap. Don't want to freeze or fry these babies! This is our first time incubating turkeys - i had a natural hatch last year but it was so disappointing because of 9 eggs set, she (Edwina) crushed 6 hatches and only the other 3 survived. So i wanted to try incubating this year. Another question, i have 2 wild hens running with our Bourbon Red Tom - Tom has been covering the wild girls - i can't tell if any of my 9 eggs in the brinsea right now are from the wild girls - all 9 eggs were in the nestbox all together and the only difference i can see is that 2-3 of the shells are slightly paler colour... does anyone know what i would look for to determine if any of these are wild??? Thanks for any advice!
