Question about leaving duckling outside

I have a three week old duckling that has spent the day outside with two feathered chicks. The low here tonight is supposed to be 45, will he be ok if he is with the chicks?

If he has no feathers I wouldn't leave him out. I just had to revive a 3 dayold one that was in a pen with his buddies, sawdust and a heat lamp. He still managed to get too cold.

I am sorry to tell you this,but I would not.I have 4 ,3week old chicks.And I thought I would put them out tonight.But I thought OH no!!!! They can get a chill and that might be it.I don`t want to take a chance.When I do put them out I will be using a heat lamp.And closed in .BackSWampGirl,,,NC

I have mine out in the barn with several chicks and a heat lamp, and they're fine. They've been in and out playing in the mud when it was in the low 50s/high 40s. When they get cold, they go get under the heat. Ducklings don't need temps as high as chicks or for as long.
