Question about light in my garage

I'm raising my chicks in my garage. I'm on day 4 and they all seem fine. I just have one small window in the back wall of my garage, so the chicks are only getting very indirect light. Not to mention I'm in the PNW, so it's overcast a lot. Should I leave my very bright overhead lights on for any length of time, or will they develop fine with just the little daylight that comes in the back window?

I have some chicks in a not so bright area and have not added any extra light and they are growing fine. I would not raise chicks in total darkness though
