Do guinea fowl have to have a certain ratio of males to females? Or can you just have an even amount of males and females in a flock? Sorry, im new to guineas.

I don't believe there is any set ratio of males to females that a guinea flock needs to have to be successful or productive. Guineas vary so much in their "personalities," and that can make a big difference in how well they get along with other guineas or with other poultry. Some flocks do very well with an equal number of males and females, while others may do better if there is a ratio of only 1 male to 5 or 6 females. The only ratio I would discourage is one where the number of males is greater than the number of females, but even that might work out fine if the personalities of the males are compatible.
