Question about Marek's!!! PLEASE HELP!!

I had to have my pet rooster euthanized on Friday because of Marek's disease. Yesterday my husband bought me a brand new chick about 1 month old. My rooster lived in my house and now I am worried that my baby could get it because he is in the house as well! PLEASE HELP!!

Unfortunately it could, because it's spread by feather dander. It's best to get vaccinated ones if don't want troubles. Also you should get more than one, they are meant to live in a flock.
