question about mineral suppliments

i have some black magic deer cain mineral suppliment , would it be ok to give my chickens some of the cain ???? it is powder form ....

i could make a fortune if my chickens grew antlers !!!!!!! however , i still need to know if it would be safe to give black magic deer cain to my chickens ...... lol
 
ok ....one of two things is going on here .....either nobody knows if the supliments would be bad , or it was a stupid question .....somebody enlighten me !!! should i delete this thread , expecting that nobody will give me an answer ?
 
Usually deer minerals have a high copper content, I know lots of copper kills sheep, so you might want to find out about chickens. Also, look through the other list of minerals and see whats in there and what their effects will be on chickens. To be honest with you, I wouldn't risk it. Deer cain is made for deer not chickens. You should only feed minerals that are intended for the specific animals it was created for.
 
Too much copper is not good for chickens.

Feed them a balanced layer feed, which should have the mineral profile they need.
