So I have an OEGB bantam hen, who is six months old. She has siblings and they are six months old as well, she is the same age but has always been the runt. Her siblings are already laying they started a week ago and they are much more developed with their combs and wattles they are much bigger than hers hers is half the size of theirs and so is her body and weight. Same age just much smaller being that she's always been the runt. When should she be laying if they are already??

I've had a runt and she caught up on her own time. Wound up perfectly normal. Just let her do her thing. It should all work out in it's own time

It'll just take her a little longer..? Here she is :)

Here's a picture of my little runt with her hatchmates. She was behind the power curve from the get go. She ended up being the lead hen and laid daily. Based on your pullet's pale comb, she's just not ready yet. She'll get there. It's just going to take some time.

Yeah my Pip Squeak was way smaller than her sisters, and is still way smaller. She's always been so tiny! She was the tiny light colored one. Her comb has reddened a lot recently sometimes it's more red but for the most part it's nice and pink now instead of pale it just pinkened and reddened within the last month :) I just can't wait for her to lay im so excited

If it's getting darker, then she's getting closer. It'll happen, unfortunately she can't be rushed. They all mature at their own pace.

She's fine.Nothing to worry about. If her comb is getting darker, I'd say in the next week or two you should start seeing eggs
