Question about my broody hen...

One of my hens has been sitting on unfertilized eggs for 2 weeks now. If I can only find some fertilized eggs for her to set on, will she set for yet another 21 days?

She might, but...then again...it might not be too healthy for her. Do you have an incubator, just in case she decides to get up in the middle of incubation? Something to think about.

If you can find some newly hatched chicks, you can put them under her at night when she's asleep. I've done that many times with never a problem!
