Question about my wyandotte's...

I have three wyandotte's in my flock. Two of them have single combs, the third one has a rose comb.
I thought wyandotte's are all supposed to have rose combs? Why do two of mine have single??

I've been wondering for so long!

Here is the rose comb one, Melody:

This one has a single comb. (Dazzle)

This one is the other single. (Blamo)

That is pretty typical of hatchery stock. They don't breed to SOP.

Hatchery stock. The quality varies, but if you're not using them as show birds, they're still wonderful.
(Some of my hatchery-bought birds aren't even the breeds they were labeled as.)

I have a lot of Wyandottes. All of their combs are different some rose some singles.. Even the 2 I have from the same batch, came out with differnt combs.. Obviously not show quality
