Question about putting lights on quails

I have previously had lights on my quail for an hour or 2 after dark to induce egg production through the spring. My buddy who doesn't use lights is now getting eggs as there is now enough natural light. If I now remove my light will my quail stop making eggs?

Natural daylight is by far, better than artificial light. So no, by turning off your lights, you will not interrupt your laying quail.
