question about roo's

this is the first chickens we have ever had .we have 5 RIR's about 4 1/2 to 5 months old and it appears that we have 2 for sure and most likely 3 roo's.we got them all at the same time when they were chicks. we realy like coming home from work and letting the chickens out to play and run around the yard,at what time should we seperate the roo's and hens?.will we be able to let them out together if we have them seperated? how agressive will the roo's be at wanting to mate with the hens? or are we just dreaming up stuff to worry about?

Well, you'll definitely have to many roos for the number of hens. You'll probably be faced with culling some of the roos. NOTE: The word 'cull' means to remove from the flock. It doesn't always mean kill.
Once you have an acceptable number of roos, which in your case would be one, I see no reason to seperate the roo at any point. My roo lives with the hens, as he always has. He's their protector and provider.

I have 1 roo with 3 hens and it's working out just fine. But I'm not keeping any eggs for breeding.
