question about roosters

i currently have a flock of 21 ladies. Thinking about getting a rooster but i would like if possible a calmer breed of rooster. Suggestions ?

Chickens are individuals, though steering clear of Mediterranean based breeds maybe in your better interest.

Yeah, it really is down to individual temperament. Luck of the draw. Breeds that are generally more easy going include Salmon Faverolles, Brahma and Cochin.
