Question about Rose Combs!

I have 4 SLW chicks about 4 weeks old. These are the first chickens I've had that had a rose comb. I know that when the questions are asked "Is this a pullet?" you look at the how big the comb is, color etc.. So what is it you look for when a chicken has a rose comb?? I'm sure the color theory is there but what about the size? Is it bigger on a rooster??

Look for red color, early comb development pretty much the same a a single comb...
