Question about runs

Ive started building my run but i didnt think about something till now, Can the run be ontop of grass? I have a big filed that i was going to build the run on and its all grass with some mini trees in them. Would this hurt them? or is it ok

That is perfect, I think they will love you for that.

Don't worry about it. Depending on the number of birds and the size of the area, the grass will be GONE soon.

I planted some clover in their run this spring along with all the other weeds behind the barn. There is already a noticeable trail around the run that they all use.
