Question about saved squash seeds...

Thanks for all the links and tips! I'm good at getting stuff to grow, but I'm still figuring out how to get the most out of saving seeds. I think this year I'll just reorder the squash seeds because I'm expecting a new baby in a few months and I've got a lot going on. I'm going to save the info and experiment with saving squash seeds another season!

Here's my list of what I'm planting, what I have, what I need to buy, etc. I have a small garden in the corner of my backyard and I also have two 4x4 garden boxes on the side of the house. I planted almost all of the same things last year, except the carrots, watermelons, and swiss chard, and I'm trying some different flowers this year.

Just to add...

I'm also expecting four dwarf apple trees from the Arbor Day people! I plan to grow them in large pots on the back porch because we might move in a few years. (I hope.) I also have a semi-dwarf pear tree planted last year, plus five black berry bushes and a bunch of raspberry bushes.

Don't forget pumpkins are C. pepo too!

I've had squash vine borers help me determine all my pepos. They love them. Maximas too.

Hope you have a good growing season!
