Question about sexing Salmon Faverolles chicks

How true is it that you can accurately sex Salmon Faverolles in just a few days by the band color on the wings; tan/brown being female and black being male?

The first variable will depend on where you get them. I can usually sex mine by 10 days though occasionally a light colored cockerel will fool me. Chest/leg feathers are an even better indicator unless they came from certain hatcheries.
