Can anyone tell me if Frizzles are shown under individual breeds (ex: a frizzle Cochin is shown within the Cochin breed and in frizzled variety) or are Frizzles shown as their own breed?

Also, does anyone know where I can find the Frizzle Standard of Perfection online? I tried the Frizzle Assoc website and it was old (links and email didnt work).

Thanks!

(Example-- If you have a Large Fowl Black Frizzle Cochin, it would have to conform to the standard for the Large Fowl Black Cochin)

I believe that they would show in the Frizzle class but I might be wrong on that...

Okay, so they are shown in the Frizzle class, which would be different from the Cochin class, but must be judged against the standard of a Cochin. Is this correct?

Only if there is a Frizzle meet are frizzles of different breeds compared against each other in a frizzle class. Essentially frizzle is a recognized variety for ALL recognized breeds.

It is a change that was made a few years ago (not that many--3 or 4 maybe?) Used to be there was a frizzle class separate from the breeds, and I think that only certain breeds were recognized for frizzle.
