I sure hope I don’t have mites I’m still learning as I go, they are in a coop that’s I closed in a 12 foot run with a top so nothing is getting to their eggs, I have as couple that are laying just not allOf course, I am assuming you don’t have mites in the coop, the girls are getting the right feed, and no one is hiding or eating eggs.

Also, if your silkie hasn't begun laying yet, it may take her longer than the other girls. Silkies can start laying much later than other breeds. I had one that didn't start laying until she was a year old. No health problems, just the breed! Good luck with your new flock!
