Question about Silkies

Hi everyone today I got my Silkies!

I have a few question about them is it normal to see the blue part of there butt with no hair? Also is ist normal for them to small asleep standing up? Thanks! -Alex

I don't know about the other question but yes they do fall asleep standing up

Are they new chicks? Where did you get them? They do sleep a lot when they are chicks (standing up too) but the also move around a lot and scratch around. If this one is sleeping and not scratching around at all I would worry a little but otherwise just enjoy them

I'm trying to remember if my silkies had bare hineys or not when I got them LOL Can't seem to remember!

Hi Alex!
They had pasty-butt and the down got pulled off their little rear ends.
They are probably catching up on sleep they missed yesterday while they were travelling.

Thanks I notice on some that they had some pasty butt but I cleaned them up with warm water.
