I got 3 week old chickes 8 of them. Three of them are Americaunas and they are all supposed to be pullets, hens. I have noticed that one is getting really bigger than the other two. I am worried that it is a rooster. Can hen chicks differ in size. I guess I am grasping at straws? Is there any way to identify it? It is getting its feathers in. It is awfully cute and pretty. I named all three of them after my granddaughters.

I have 5 Easter Eggers (Ameracaunas) and 2 are quite a bit bigger than the other 3. The woman I bought them from said they are all the same age and they were all the same size when I got them at 3 days old. Those two have feathered out much more, tried to fly earlier, and are just bigger than the others. I don't think they're roos. They were sexed by the hatchery. I suppose they could make a mistake, but I think they're just bigger.
