Question about sourdough bread

Sup. Recently i started baking my own whean flour bread with yeast (delicious :D ). I wanted to try making bread using sourdough made with rye flour (the rest of the flour would be wheat probably). But the only rye flour i've got is 720 type, and the most recipies look for 2000 type. Could i just add some wheat bran? Or what should i do?
