Question about Splash marans roo pic

this is my splash marans roo. Just wanted to know want you guys think of him. He is out of the Davis line and form someone off BYC. He is the only one I got to hatch and make it. I have some more Black and Blue marans out of the Davis line I am going to breed him to. Just his comb, feet and eyes are not the same color as the other. Others are dark even there eyes are dark. Is it because he is a splash.

I've got BBS in wheaten, birchen, and copper. Yes, the blues and especially splashes will have lighter legs and so on than the blacks. That's natural.

I don't have any pics of mine,but he looks good to me. I have a trio of splash and then one young rooster about 5 months old. All mine are really gental. As far as the eyes, out of my 4 only one has dark eyes.
