Just a few days ago we finished fencing in a large area behind my house so the emu chick we got about a month ago will have a place to stay once he is grown. I just recently started letting my pullets free range during the day but today they decided to get to close to the road (its not a main highway I live near the end of a dead end road) so I decided to take their coop and put it and them in the new fenced in area so they would still have lots of room to roam but would have a boundary. This will be their first year laying and so far only 8 of 26 of them have started laying. If the move stresses them out and makes them stop laying (which it probably will) how long do yall think it will be before they will start to lay again?

I hope it doesnt affect them much but if it does about how long will it be before they start again. I recently bought them a flock block and they really loved it so I thought about getting them another one to get their mind off of the move.
