Question about suitable chicken-run terrain

What kind of terrain can the chicken run be on -- would it work if the area for the run is rocky and on an incline, or does it have to be on relatively level ground. Thanks for all your help. We are having a challenge finding the right place and structure for the coop - and also struggling w/ whether to get a portable or a walk-in.

I've seen coops and runs perched on the side of steep hills. You just have to modify the fencing at the bottom to keep it all the same height at the top.

You can build a run on any terrain. It is just a lot EASIER on level flat ground. So it depends how much aggravation you want
