I'm a newbie and up-and-coming hatching addict. :) I have 11 turkey eggs in the incubator on day 5 right now..

I have a hovabator w/fan and am using the flimsy thermometer that came with it as well as following all the directions. I've read people using hydrometers and different thermometers... can anyone recommend brands or where to get them? I'm so anxious about this I'm practically staring at the eggs 24/7!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

and congrats on the incubator. I like the simple reptile thermometers & hygrometers available at Petco just have 2 or 3 so you can compare. I have found they are more accurate than the digital incubator ones I bought that have a probe. Good Luck with your hatch.

Thanks FGE! Will go tonight. Didn't know if these were specialty items.

If you get serious about hatching lots of eggs, then maybe you will want one of the fancy and more expensive models. I know there has to be some that are very good. Hope you have a Great hatch!!!
