Question about turkeys

Good Morning to all! I have just joined and am fairly new to farm animals, I have had chickens for a few years now and really enjoy them. I just bought some brown turkeys this spring and my kids decided I needed more than 2 so they came back from the store with 5 white ones, my question to start is will the interbreed?

Thank you! I have 24 chickens, 2 which are roosters and now 7 Turkeys. I believe only 2 are male. But they are all spring babies so who knows for sure. I am alone here with my birds but loving it!

I would imagine a turkey male would try to breed a chicken hen - they aren't the smartest birds in the world. Of course doing so would kill a chicken hen.

Oh no! I sure hope not! My birds are free to roam the yard and I would hate to have to cage them.

I don't think the turkeys will try to breed with the chickens but will with the other turkeys. Apparently your birds haven't been discovered by any predators yet. Good luck and have fun...
