Question about white liquid when laying.

Hi. So I just went to collect my ducks egg and it was covered and surrounded in white milky liquid. There was quite a lot of it and i've never seen it before. It looks like the same stuff that comes out before she mates but there is loads. Does anyone know what this is?

It's quite possible she has a reproductive tract infection and that's pus.

But, I'm no duck expert, so hopefully someone can enlighten us both.

Every now and then there's quite a bit of that milky stuff. Keep watch - it's probably within the normal range.
