I think this would go here. I have several cans of AvoDerm canned dog food it is a natural food and it's a vegetarian formula. My dog doesn't want it - picky little thing - and I was wondering if I could put it in my worm bin. If not how about the compost box?? or the chickens?

My chickens loooove the dog food. My puppy will sometimes have to get aggresive!

I would put it in the worm bin or see if the chickens would eat it. If it is all natural I don't see where it could hurt.

beware.... any vegetable oils can go rancid. It may be vegitarian, but I'd be wary cuz of the oils that may be in it. If you have a large enough of a worm bin, or an outside one, then a little bit all over and buried would probably be ok.

I am pretty sure it has oil it has avocado in it, maybe I will put it in the compost bin....I guess if I wanted to could donate it to the SPCA but I don't go that way and I am trying to only drive where I have to. Thanks!
