Do wyandottes tend to develop early? I have 3 sexed "pullets" from Cackle hatchery and their combs are awful red....I'm 99% sure #3 is a cockerel. #3 is also developing alot slower than the other 2. They are 6 weeks old. There are 2 pics for each chick. I know hatcheries say 90% sexing accuracy, so 1 in 10 could be a cockerel but how does that apply to smaller numbers of chicks? I only ordered 3. Help please!

I would wait until at least 11 weeks and look more for feathering pattern. Solid patches on the wings and saddle feathers. The comb is not the only indicator. Can you take full body photos? Shoulder to tail.

Here are some update pics, they were very active this morning so this is as good as I could get🤷‍♀️ the 2nd & 3rd pics are of the suspected cockerel. His wattles are huge now so I guess that answers that. Lol
