Question: Can you hard boil eggs that were already dyed (like easter color dye)?

So we dyed eggs and forgot to hard boil them, oops. Now we want to know if you can boil them after they are dyed. I don't care about preserving the color because we still have some color dye to re-dip it in. Thanks!

I don't see why not. Some of the dye might leach inside? That's about all I can think would happen.....
